聖なる所を彼らに造らせなさい
旧約聖書出エジプト記で、神様はモーセに次のようにお命じになりました。
わたしのための聖なる所を彼らに造らせなさい。
わたしは彼らの中に住むであろう。

200年以上にも及ぶエジプトでの生活の間に、イスラエルの人々の生活は、彼らの父祖たちのものとは大きく違うものになってしまっていました。
彼らには「出エジプト」の体験、すなわち「奴隷状態だったエジプトを出ること」が必要でした。
そして、エジプトを出た彼らに神様は十戒を与え（出エジプト記20章）、神ご自身が彼らの中に住むための聖所を造るようにとお命じになったのでした。
聖所建設のための指示はかなり細かいものです。幕屋のサイズや材料などがこと細かに指定されています。実際の聖所を見たことのない私たちにとっては、いささかイメージしにくく、無味乾燥に思えてしまう箇所であるかもしれません。
しかし今週、この箇所を読んでいたときに、この「わたしのための聖なる所を彼らに造らせなさい。わたしは彼らの中に住むであろう。」という神様の言葉が心に響いて来ました。
「あなたはあなたの生活の中に、そして心の中に『わたしのための聖なる所』を確保しているか？」と神様から問われているように感じたのです。
神様がイスラエルの民に、そして私たちに「聖所を造りなさい」と言われた理由は明快です。
「わたしは彼らの中に住む」（8節後半）ためです。神様は私たちと共に住もうとしてくださるお方です。
あなたの生活の中に、そして心の中に、神様をお迎えするための「聖なる所」を用意しませんか？

English Ver Make a sanctuary for me
God said to Moses.
“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.“
(Exodus 25:8 NIV)
After spending a long time in Egypt, the lives of the Israelites were different from those of their ancestors. They needed an experience of Exodus.
After they left Egypt, God gave them the Ten Commandments. And then God ordered them to make a sanctuary. The order of God to make the sanctuary was fairly detailed. There are materials and sizes written in detail there. For us who have never seen the actual sanctuary, it may be boring.
However, when I read this word this week, there was something I felt in my heart. I felt God asks me. "Do you have a sanctuary for me in your life, in your heart?"
The reason why God told the Israelites and us "Make a sanctuary" is clear. That's because "God will dwell among them".
God wants to be with us. Will you not make a sanctuary for God in your life and mind? Let us greet God in our hearts.
