English Ver He guided them to their desired haven.

There was a funeral this week at our church.

The deceased was not a member of the church, but by the guidance of God it was able to have a funeral at the church.

Through a two-day funeral, we sang hymns "The Haven of rest" several times. This hymn is based on the words of this Psalm.

Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
He stilled the storm to a whisper,
the waves of the sea were hushed.
They were glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them to their desired haven.

( Psalm 107:28-30 NIV )

In our life, there are days like "sea of storm". But when we seek God for help from those storms, God will respond to it. God stops that storm. And God will lead us to 'desired haven'. That is a promise from God to us.

During the funeral, family and relatives shared memories with the deceased. When we heard those stories, we laughed. And we wept. It was a very heart-warming time. He experienced many sufferings.

However, he did not stop helping others. I felt that he reached "desired haven".

The day of second coming of Christ is approaching. I hope that people meet again and meet with Jesus that day.
