求めているものを神に打ち明けなさい
求めているものを神に打ち明けなさい
主において常に喜びなさい。重ねて言います。喜びなさい。あなたがたの広い心がすべての人に知られるようになさい。主はすぐ近くにおられます。どんなことでも、思い煩うのはやめなさい。何事につけ、感謝を込めて祈りと願いをささげ、求めているものを神に打ち明けなさい。そうすれば、あらゆる人知を超える神の平和が、あなたがたの心と考えとをキリスト・イエスによって守るでしょう。

私はかつて、この聖句が好きになれませんでした。
「『喜びなさい』って言われても、喜んでばかりいられないよ。こんなに辛いこと、苦しいことがあるのに…。きれい事を言うなよ！」そう思っていました。
しかし、著者のパウロがこの手紙を牢屋の中で書いたのだと知ったとき、そう思っていた自分が恥ずかしくなりました。
牢屋の中にいても、心の平安を失わず、むしろ牢屋の外にいる人を励ますことができる人がいる。それに対して、自分は自由な世界にいるのに、目の前の小さなことに心を乱されている…。そういう弱い自分に気づかされたからです。
パウロは「何事につけ、…求めているものを神に打ち明けなさい」と書いています。これは「神様にあなたの本音をぶつけなさい」という意味だと私は理解しています。
泣きごとでも怒りでもいい、神様に心からの本音をぶつけるときに、神様からの喜びや平安を受け取ることができるということを、パウロは知っていたのかもしれません。
心の中がちりぢりに乱れるとき、どうしても不安や恐れをぬぐうことができないとき、パウロが勧めているように、あなたが心の底から欲しているものを神様の前に注ぎ出してみませんか？

English Ver In every situation, present your requests to God
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4:4-7 NIV)
I used to didn't like this Scripture. This Scripture says, "Rejoice!"
But I thought, "I have a lot of troubles, I cannot rejoice!", "Don’t try to sound like a perfect person!"
But when I learned that Paul wrote this letter in prison, I was ashamed of myself.
Even though Paul was in prison, he had peace of mind. Not only that, he encouraged people outside the prison. I have a free life. However, I am often losing a peaceful mind. I was making myself unhappy with small troubles.
Paul recommends us, "In every situation, present your requests to God".
It means to honestly tell my true intention to God. We do not have to hide our true feelings in front of God. Even if it is anger, sadness, we can tell to God as it is.
In doing so, Paul knew that we could receive peaceful mind from God.
When your heart is confused, let's tell your true intention to God as it is. God will give you peaceful mind.
